Got to the lake around 8 pm. There were two other anglers on. There was little wind, and it felt mild. I went back in swim 4 and put the left-hand rod off the reeds and the middle rod on the same spot I had the fish from the week before. These two rods had hinge stiff rigs.
The right-hand rod was placed a few wraps shorter than the middle rod on a soft area with a bottom bait and a 1 bait stringer (the rig came in clean on the last trip with no silkweed, so trying a bottom bait this session).. All rods had 25 baits put around them. All rods were placed in the same spots I fished a few nights before.
At 12.30 am, a swan swam through my lines, taking out all 3 rods which had to be recast. During the recast, I heard two fish, one in front of the swim down to the right (where another angler was fishing) and one close to my middle rod.
Nothing occurred during the night. The wind picked up and was blowing a brisk north/north easterly. I packed up at 9 am. While packing up, an angler opposite had one of the reeds, and while walking back to the car, an angler doing the day in on the other side in the other corner had one of the reeds also.
