I arrived at the lake around 7 pm, with little wind and no clouds. There were two other anglers in swim 1 and 11.
I went into swim five on setting up, and a fish crashed tight in the reeds to my left.
My left-hand rod was tight off the reeds with a hinge stiff rig. My middle and right-hand rods were fished on two of my usual spots in front of swim 4 with a hinge stiff rig and a bottom bait (on the clearer spot). A kilo of Boilies was put in between the 3 rods.
After dark, a few fish showed up in the reeds, although they were in swim 6s water (on the other side) over weed. I heard around three fish top down to my right throughout the night.
Another blank night. The lake is fishing hard at the minute, with only a handful of fish out this month. The morning was quiet, and no fish were spotted. I left around 9 am, on leaving a new W/WSW wind sprung up.
