I purchased an ESP Belt Bucket as I was tired of continuously bending down when baiting up with a catapult. This simple item of luggage has made baiting up a lot easier.
What Is The ESP Belt Bucket?
The ESP Belt Bucket is a fold-up baiting pouch with an adjustable belt that can be clipped around your waist or slung over your shoulder.
It’s made from a tough PU-coated material and has an open top that is wired to maintain its shape.
It can be folded flat, weighs nothing and takes up little space. The belt bucket can hold 2-3kg of bait and is easily washable by rinsing.
It’s very simple: ESP offers the Stalker Pouch, similar to the bait bucket, but with a pocket and catapult loops, which some may prefer. I didn’t need these extra features, so I opted for the belt bucket.

How To Use The Belt Bucket
Clip, round your waist, fill it with bait and start baiting up. The bait remains within easy reach, so you don’t have to bend down each time you fill your catapult, throwing stick or spomb. This is a great time and energy saver.
Personal Experience with The ESP Belt Bucket
I put out 1-2kg of Boiles (sometimes more) in most fishing sessions at the start. I usually mark my spots with a marker float, divide my bait between 3 rods and fire around the marker. I used to have to bend down and grab a few boilies between firing them out. Not anymore. Now, I can stand up straight through the whole baiting process. It’s quicker and much easier on my lower back, which benefits a middle-aged man.
It’s not just baiting up when putting the rods out. I load my pouch with baiting tools, foam, PVA bags, and stringers (whatever I’m using). If the cast doesn’t land where I want it, I can quickly reel in and attach another piece of foam/PVA bag or stringer without bending down or returning to the baiting bits.

Cons Of The ESP Belt Bucket
There is nothing I dislike about the ESP Belt Bucket.
Conclusion
The ESP Belt Bucket is a simple, inexpensive, and easy-to-use item that will make baiting up much easier. It is highly recommended.
